If your team is using SwimTopia’s team management system, your team can create and manage your Record Books and Time Standard Sets for availability on your meets in Meet Maestro.
If your league is taking advantage of the FREE League Site SwimTopia offers, they may create and share Records and Time Standard Sets with each team within the league. Learn more about our SwimTopia for Leagues features.

Accessing Records & Benchmarks in your Meet Settings
After the meet is merged, if you would like to manage the Records you selected to include during the merge process, and/or configure the Time Standards to include on the meet so you can see when athletes achieve a cut, go to the Benchmarks section from the Settings gear.
Editing the Record Book Selections
Record books are selected as part of the merge process from within the meet setup on your SwimTopia team management site. If you need to edit which teams are eligible for the record books, you can do so from the Maestro Settings > Benchmarks screen as seen below.
➞ See our Creating a Record Book if you would like to learn more about this feature.
Adding a Record Book to your Meet Post-Merge
To add a team or league record book to the meet, click on the Add Record Book button, select which record books you want to add to the meet, scroll to the bottom and click Save.
If the course of a record book does not match the meet, it cannot be added to the meet. These will be greyed out.
Record books can be added, but not removed. Teams can click the edit pencil to deselect eligible teams if the record book was accidentally added.
» Note: Unlike Time Standards, which update in the meet within Meet Maestro dynamically if changes are made in SwimTopia, Records are a snapshot in time and do not update in the meet if changed.
Adding a Time Standard to your Meet
To add a Time Standard to the meet, click on the Add Time Standard button and select which Time Standard(s) you want to add to the meet.
➧ No Time Standards Available
The availability of a Time Standard Set is dependent on whether the league has created and shared these Time Standard Sets or the team has created their own Time Standard Sets by the meet's start date. If none have been shared or created at that time, a message will display as seen below.
➞ See our Time Standards & Qualifying Times Overview for more details on this feature.
➧ Eligible Teams and Visibility Configuration
By default, all teams competing in the meet will be selected as eligible for the Time Standard Set(s) added to the meet. If a team should not be included, they can be easily excluded by clicking on the pencil icon and deselecting the appropriate team.
In addition, if a selected Time Standard should no longer be included on the meet after it has been added, this can be accomplished by unchecking the "Visible" box.
Viewing Records & Time Standards in the Time Entry Interface
The selected Time Standards and Records will be displayed in the Benchmarks section of the meet (top right).
➧ Records
The Standings will continuously update as the meet progresses. If Records are included in the meet, they will be displayed in the user interface as seen below.
➧ Time Standards
As the meet progresses, when a cut is achieved, the applicable Time Standard label will display next to the Official Time, and also on results reports (if selected in the filters).
➞ See Meet Maestro - Time Entry Interface Overview to learn more about configuration options in the time entry interface.
Records & Time Standards in Reports
Records and time Standards added to the meet from the Benchmarks under Meet Maestro Settings can be included on your Heat Sheets, Psych Sheets, Records, Record Breaker Labels and Results reports. There is also a Time Standards Labels report available (Meet Maestro cannot yet score based on time standards)
» Note: The Records report in Meet Maestro is a "Pre-Meet" report, which means it can only display records imported at the time of the entries merge. The Record Breaker Labels report is more useful if you are looking for post-meet record breakers.
➞ See Meet Maestro Settings – Pre-Meet Reports and Meet Maestro Settings – Post-Meet Reports to learn how you can view achieved benchmarks in reports.
There is also a Records report available from your SwimTopia site under Manage Team > Reports > Athlete Performance > Records.
Records & Time Standards in the Mobile App
Benchmarks will be available in the mobile app in a future release (TBD).
