When an event is removed from the host meet but is still present on a team site and has entries, or the team removes an event themselves, a warning is provided on the Meet Setup > Linking sub-tab, and those entries are "parked" under the Entries > Parked Entries sub-tab for review, so nothing is lost.

Team-Specific Merge Warnings on the Host Site

(the league or another team is the meet host)

Each participating team with parked entries that need attention is specified on the Merge/Export tab of the host meet in charge of merging entries, so the host can direct each team to fix their meet entries before the merge can take place.

Warnings for Parked Entries on the Visiting Team Site

There are multiple locations where a team can see they have entries that need attention, which link to the Parked Entries sub-tab.

Actions for Parked Entries

Each parked entry card names the event, when it was parked, why, and whether it will restore automatically, as seen in the screenshot below. Relay events count parked relays and athletes.

Meet Entries are Unlocked

The Entries > Parked Entries tab is where teams choose to move or discard each entry that has been "parked" because the host changed the event or if they updated an event that already has entries assigned.

Teams with parked entries need to either:

Move each entry to a suggested compatible event from the Entries > Individual Entries or Relay Entries sub-tabs (swim-up events are offered where the meet allows it; entry limits are checked and "Free a slot" links to the athlete's entries)
Click the Discard button. (This cannot be undone)
Or click the buttons to: Move all suggested or Discard all remaining

Note: Restore event appears only when the meet's schedule is editable. (i.e., not on a linked meet)

If there are no events available to move the entries to, you will see "No compatible event in the schedule," as shown below. In this case, you can only discard the entry.

Meet Entries are Locked

Entries can still be discarded, but moving them or restoring an event would change what gets merged, so those actions can only occur when entries are unlocked.
