You can run your meet with only one team, but if you would like to take advantage of running your Intrasquad or Time Trials meet as if you were competing against another team, you can do so with one of the options below.
» Note: These options do not allow for scoring as if there were two separate teams at this time.
Covered in this Article:
- Option 1: Compete as One Team
- Option 2: Manual Lane Assignment
- Option 3: Manual Tally Using High Scorers Report
Option 1: Compete as One Team
You can run your meet in our meet system with only one team. When you mark yourself as ready and merge your teams' entries, the meet will be created in our meet management system.

Option 2: Manual Lane Assignment
Break the team into two "teams" through manual lane assignment (Ex., Blue = lanes 1-3, Orange = lanes 4-6). Lanes can be assigned before merging your meet or directly in the meet interface post-merge.
To accomplish this, you would need to check the "Allow manual assignment of heats and lanes" on the Schedule > Meet Name > Meet Setup > Entry Rules screen. Then use the edit pencil on the Entries screen to assign lanes. As mentioned, you could also move athletes around after the entries are merged.
If your meets are tied to a Meet Template shared from your league, and this entry rule setting is locked, you will need to request that your league update the templates to allow for this configuration.
Option 3: Manual Tally Using High Scorers Report
In this option, you would create a spreadsheet with the names of the swimmers on each team. At the conclusion of the meet, run the High Scorers report and enter the points earned for each swimmer in your spreadsheet, and then tally the results.
