The Seeding & Scoring tab allows you to add or update your seeding, placing/scoring, and points settings. This is also where you set up scoring by divisions, double dual scoring, and reseed or rescore the meet in the case of a large number of scratches or deck entries.
Seeding and scoring options are found under Meet Maestro Settings (gear icon).
» Note: The configurations displayed here come from the Meet Setup > Seeding & Scoring tab of the meet in SwimTopia. Changes to Seeding & Scoring rules in Meet Maestro will not update the original settings in the meet on the SwimTopia side.

Configuration - Seeding, Placing, and Scoring
The meet admins can change the seeding, placing, and scoring rules if the configurations were not accurately set up (or set up at all) on the Meet Setup > Seeding & Scoring tab of the meet in SwimTopia before the merge.
This eliminates having to access the meet setup in SwimTopia to make changes and get all teams to mark themselves ready to merge again to re-merge the meet.

➧ Circle Seeding (Request to enable)
SwimTopia currently supports circle seeding the entire meet. If interested in using this feature, submit a support ticket requesting that circle seeding be enabled for your team site.
➧ Reseed or Rescore Prompt
Upon saving, a popup modal will notify the user that they changed the seeding or scoring rules and prompt you to Reseed or Rescore the meet, if appropriate.
➞ Settings affecting Seeding: will prompt the user to reseed only unstarted events
➞ Settings affecting Scoring: will prompt the user to rescore events that already have results
Points - Individual and Relay Events
The meet admins can change the scoring rules if the points were not accurately set up on the Meet Setup > Seeding & Scoring tab of the meet in SwimTopia before the merge.

Upon saving, a popup modal will notify the user that they changed the scoring rules and prompt you to Rescore the meet events that already have results, if appropriate:
Locked Meet Templates - Read-Only Settings
When a Meet Template is "locked" by the league in SwimTopia, the seeding and scoring fields will be read-only by design.
To allow for changes to be made, the league admin must uncheck the Template Locking box on the Meet Template > Entry Rules screen. This will dynamically unlock the Seeding & Scoring screen in Meet Maestro. (Contact your league admin to request this change)

Scoring by Division
Scoring by division allows teams to group and score meet results by various methods - - by team, event, time standard, or flighted meet.
Example: By Event
➞ See our Scoring by Division article for full details and setup steps.
» Note: These settings do not apply if your meet does not require multi-level division scoring.
Double Dual Scoring
Double dual scoring enables multiple pairs of teams in the same meet to be scored independently as if each pair were competing in a separate dual meet. If enabled, results and scores for each Team Pairing will be available as filters in reports and as export options.
➞ See our Double Dual Scoring article for full details and setup steps.
» Note: These settings do not apply if your meet does not require double dual scoring.
Reseed Range of Events
If results are detected in any events within the reseeding range, a message will display with a call-to-action to CONFIRM the reseeding should still take place.
» Note: Re-seeding makes any pre-printed heat sheets or timing sheets obsolete.
Rescore Range of Events
The same process applies to rescoring events.
» Note: Re-scoring makes any pre-printed results reports obsolete.
