New To SwimTopia: Create An Account | ||

You will need to create a SwimTopia account before you can register or access a private page on a team site. If you have been affiliated with another team using SwimTopia's team management platform, you can sign in to any team using SwimTopia with the same credentials. | ||
➧ Step 1: Choose Sign-in or Registration Path | ||
Sign InClicking Sign in or a attempting to access a private page on the team site takes you to the Sign In screen: Cloudflare is confirming you are not a malicious bot. "Register now" Button or Private Registration LinkWhen registration is open, if you clicked the Register now button, or a private registration link, you will Sign In / Create Account. You will be redirected back to the registration form after activating your account. » Note: If the team has more than one registration form open, a screen with those options will appear first. | ||

Enter your name and email address, and click Sign Up: | ||

The next screen will confirm what email address you've entered, and direct you to check your email to complete your account setup. This step ensures you have ownership of the email address entered. Click to activate your account in the email: » Note: If you did not receive an activation email in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder and/or trash. If you click the activation link more than five minutes after the email was sent, you will be prompted to verify the email address as an additional security step:

Enter a password (must be 8 characters and include a mix of character types), and click the terms of service checkbox: The system will provide a guage for your password strength: After clicking Complete My Account Setup, you are redirected back where you left off (the home page, registration, or private page), as a signed-in user. |

| If you have already signed up for a SwimTopia account, you'll have one of the two experiences below depending on your current sign-in status: |

If you are still signed in to your SwimTopia account, you will be recognized and can select your signed-in account to proceed. |
➧ Sign In To Your Activated Account |

If you are not signed in to your SwimTopia account, you'll be directed to the Sign In screen where you can enter your confirmed credentials. Then you'll be redirected back to the team site. Sign InClicking Sign in from the menu or a attempting to access a private page on the team site takes you to the Sign In screen: Cloudflare is confirming the user is not a malicious bot. If you try to create a new account using the same email address, you’ll see a message that the account already exists and you’ll be prompted to sign in: "Register now" Button or Private Registration LinkIf you want to register for the team, and clicked the Register now button, or received a private registration link, you will Sign In / Create Account. You will be redirected back to the registration form after signing in to your account. |

New or returning members can also access the sign-in screen directly from the SwimTopia / Team Topia dashboards. Once a user signs in, they can access any team site they’re associated with without needing to log in again (as long as you remain signed in to the dashboard). https://my.swimtopia.com and https://my.teamtopia.com |
➧ SwimTopia Mobile App |

The SwimTopia mobile app is a companion app to your team's SwimTopia website, so you will use the same sign-in credentials on the app and team site. If you forget your password, you will need to reset this from the SwimTopia dashboard (click "Need login help?" on the app for instructions as needed). |
➧ Switch Team/Org |
Switching Teams in Your BrowserIf you are a member of multiple teams/organizations, you can easily switch to any SwimTopia site you are affiliated with from the navigation menu. Switching Teams in the SwimTopia Mobile AppWhen using the SwimTopia mobile app, there is an option to select which team to view under the app settings (wavy lines in upper left).
» Note: You need to be affiliated/registered with each team, but you can use the same sign-in on each team site. If you do not see an option to register on your team site, reach out to the team representatives. |
➧ Reset Your Password |

If you want to reset your password, you can do this from the Sign In screen:
The password reset links expire after 30 days. Generating another password reset link nullifies the previous link. Passwords must be 6 to 8 characters and include a mix of character types. Users with an account before February 23, 2026 will need to update their password to adhere to this password guideline if they perform a password reset. |
➧ Email Address Updates |

You can update your email and contact information during registration. Outside of registration, or after your form has been submitted, request an update from your team admins. There should be a way to contact your team admins from your team website.

➧ Competition Category and Birthdate Updates |
|
An athlete's competition category and birthdate can only be updated during registration the first time the athlete is registered. Any subsequent updates must be handled by your team admins due to possible registration limits and meet entry restrictions. (Details for Athletes connected to USA Swimming will need to be edited on the USA Swimming site) |

You can sign out of the team’s site by hovering over your name and clicking Sign Out. You will remain signed in to your SwimTopia account, and any other team you belong to. As a result, the next time you access a team site you will be automatically signed in. To fully sign out of all accounts, or to sign in with a different email address, click Sign in, then Sign out and use another account. |

Yes, if each team is using SwimTopia's / Team Topia's platform, and require members to register online. You will need to access their team website directly when the team opens registration. » Auto-Fill Efficiency Tip: If you’ve already created a SwimTopia /Team Topia account and remain signed in, your contact information will automatically populate registration forms on any team using SwimTopia or Team Topia. |

If you are having issues activating your account or resetting your password, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:

Even if you've never registered with this team, if you have been affiliated with another team using SwimTopia's team management platform, you can sign in with the same credentials. If you try to create a new account, but we see that an account already exists using the same email, you'll see a message that your account already exists and to sign in. |

SwimTopia is the software vendor for your team. Please contact your team admins for assistance on any topic specific to your team (registration, practice, schedule, payment/refunds, meet details, rules, etc.). Teams usually provide a contacts page or "Contact Us" form on their website. |
