Mobile App Access
Downloading the SwimTopia Mobile App
The SwimTopia mobile app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Logging Into Your Mobile App Account
The SwimTopia mobile app is a companion app to your team's SwimTopia website, so use the same login credentials for the SwimTopia mobile app.
If you forget their password, you will need to reset this from your team website (click "Need login help?" on the app login screen for instructions as needed):

Pro Subscription and Guest Login
Pro Subscription Details
- Parents can try Pro for FREE for 7 days, then upgrade to Pro for $2.99/mo or $9.99/yr
- When parents upgrade to a Pro subscription, the fee for the first subscription period will be charged to their Apple App Store or Google Play account at the end of the 7-day free trial.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if parents purchase a subscription.
- The subscription fee will be based on the monthly or annual selection.
- Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The free trial is a one-time offer, even if canceled before the 7 days.
- The Apple App Store supports "family share" for the SwimTopia mobile app.

How to Subscribe to Pro
➧ Never had a trial version of a Pro subscription?
You should see a "TRY PRO FOR FREE" button at the top of most screens if you are not already subscribed (i.e., the Family Overview, the Meet Overview for any current or past meet, and Settings (wavy lines on top left). Click that button and follow the prompts to subscribe.
The upgrade prompt will display automatically if you attempt to reach a screen that requires Pro to view (i.e., Favorites, Events).
You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your iTunes Account Settings or Google Play Store after purchase.
➧ You HAVE used a trial version of a Pro subscription or have canceled your Pro subscription?
You will manage your renewal through the App Store subscription tool (click on your profile pic in the App Store to get there), or within your Subscriptions under your phone Settings (steps below) -- not within the app itself. Users can manage their subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in their subscriptions after purchase.
➧ You don't see an option to renew?
Log into the app, and either go into a current meet or click on the Past Events link in the app and go into a past meet and the Favorites tab (bottom of screen). You should be able to subscribe from there.
Guest Login Pro Upgrade
If you upgrade to Pro while logged in as a guest, and then you log into your member account, the Pro subscription should be retained as this is tied to your phone.
If you are not seeing Pro features when logged into your member account, try the following steps::
- Click on the "TRY PRO FOR FREE" button and then the RESTORE SUBSCRIPTION link to activate the subscription again on your phone. (This link triggers a confirmation from the app store to our app to let us know you have a subscription, so we can link it to your account. Sometimes there's a disconnect and it is not automatically recognized. This can happen if you originally started a subscription as a Guest user or another logged-in user, or after re-installing the app.)
- Still an issue? - Try to log out of the app and back into your account. If that does not work, uninstall and reinstall the app
- If these steps do not resolve the issue, submit a support ticket from the app settings screen within the app (wavy lines on top left), with a screenshot of your settings and specific details and what you have tried. We will work with you to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

Managing Your Subscription from Within Your App
Regardless of using an iPhone or Android device, you can manage your app subscriptions from within the Settings area of your SwimTopia Mobile app as seen below:

➧ Google Android Subscription Renewal thru Google Play Store
- Go to Google Play Store
- Tap the three bars on the left (hamburger menu)
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap the Subscription you want to renew
➧ Apple iPhone (iOS) Subscription Renewal from the App Store
- Go to your App Store
- Tap your profile image at the top right
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap on the SwimTopia app
- Pick the option you want to renew

- Launch the Settings app
- Tap on your name at the top
- Tap on Subscriptions
- Tap on the SwimTopia app
- Pick the option you want to Renew
You don't see an option to renew?

Updating Your Payment Method
App purchases are handled through the App Store or Google Play. SwimTopia does not store payment information. You will need to update the payment method for your Apple ID or Google Play based on their support instructions.

Canceling a Pro subscription from the App Store (or request refund)
The SwimTopia Customer Happiness Team is unable to cancel a Pro subscription or issue any refunds. All cancellations and refund requests must go through either the App Store or the Google Play Store. We provide a quick link to your app subscription management tool from the Settings (wavy lines) in your app (as noted above ), or you can go directly to the App Store or Google Play Store.
» Note: The free trial is a one-time offer, so if you try it and then cancel (even if before the 7 days), you cannot get a second trial period, sorry.

- Access your Settings
- Tap on your name at the top
- Tap on Subscriptions
- Tap on the SwimTopia app
- Tap to Cancel Free Trial or Subscription

Canceling a Pro subscription from the Google Play Store (or request refund)
If users wish to cancel the Pro subscription, this is done through the app store subscription tool, not within the app itself.
➧ How to cancel a Google Play Store subscription:
- On your Android phone or tablet, go to your subscriptions in Google Play.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription.
- Follow the instructions.
» Note: Deleting the app DOES NOT cancel your subscription. Just like unplugging your TV from your cable box does not cancel your cable service. Canceling your Pro subscription is between you and the Google Play Store.
- If you have a subscription with an app and the app gets removed from Google Play, your future subscription will be canceled. Your past subscriptions will not be refunded.
- When you cancel a subscription you’ll still be able to use your subscription for the time you’ve already paid.

There are still plenty of free features that make the app very useful for parents even when not using our Meet Maestro application. Especially the Live Event/Heat bar to keep you informed of when your athlete is about to swim (if your team has a volunteer updating it), and the Alert Notification feature so your team can quickly notify you on your phone when there are weather cancellations or other important information. You can also sign up for meet events and keep track of your athlete's time history after results are posted.
