Cookie Consent Banner Details

A cookie consent banner is presented across our SwimTopia and Team Topia web properties  (powered by iubenda). This includes our Help Center and all of our team and league sites.

➧ Why do we need to present a cookie consent banner?

This is to meet privacy-compliance requirements: non-essential tracking, analytics, and advertising technologies must only load after a visitor gives consent, rather than firing automatically on page load.

These are required by laws like GDPR and CIPA. 

➧ What does the consent banner block?

The banner blocks all third-party privacy-related scripts until the visitor makes a choice, and records the visitor’s selection and retains it across our subdomains. Necessary/technical cookies (security, login, the site itself) will always run.

➧ What is affected by the choices I make?

Your choices could impact any embedded features such as YouTube videos, team photo albums, and Facebook feeds.

For example, if you disabled the "Experience" cookie, embedded videos (YouTube etc.) will not be visible. You can quickly remedy this by clicking the Update button, which re-enables this cookie. Then save your update and refresh the page.

Attention Team Admins: If your site uses these embedded features, let your members know that they can customize their choices to allow them to view these on your site. ➧ How can I change my cookie settings?

After you have selected the cookies you would like to accept by customizing your choices, click on the green iubenda icon in the lower left corner of your browser to edit your selections. Click the "Save and continue" button to confirm your updates.
