Locating the Performance Graphs

➧ Step 1: Navigate to your athlete's Result History from your Family Overview.

➧ Step 2: Tap on a stroke from the Best Times list to see the full history for that stroke and distance.

➧ Step 3: Tap the chart icon to switch from the list view to the chart view.

Graph Highlights and Details

➧ Time Period Filters

The following preset ranges are available to select from the chart:

• 1Y — most recent year
• 2Y — most recent two years
• 3Y — most recent three years
• 5Y — most recent five years
• ALL — full history for the swimmer

➧ Evenly Spaced Results (compressed time)

• Swims are spaced evenly along the x-axis rather than plotted against actual calendar time. This makes it easier to distinguish swims that occur close together — for example, multiple races within the same meet or a busy stretch of competition. It also keeps the chart readable across seasons that mix competition months with off-season months, so progress reads competition-to-competition instead of day-to-day.
• Year dividers are overlaid on the x-axis so the user still has a sense of when swims occurred.

➧ Time Standard Achievements

When time standards are available for the swimmer’s stroke and distance, left and right arrows under the chart let the user cycle between the available standard sets shared by the team or league. 

• With a standard selected, the chart shades the achievement tiers behind the performance line (e.g., USAS Motivational Times: B, BB, A, AA, AAA, AAAA; or a team-specific set like Invitational Cuts).
• By default, the swimmer’s personal best is the selected swim. 
• The user can scroll left/right through individual swims to select any other swim on the chart.
• For the selected swim, the achieved standard appears on the left and the next-faster standard on the right, each with its badge.
• Tapping the time under a standard badge shows the delta — how far the swim was from achieving that standard, and how far it sits above the achieved one.

➧ Time Standards: "No standards selected"

The "No standards selected" option when Time Standards are detected, hides the color bands:

➧ Dynamic Zoom

By default, the chart is zoomed to show the swimmer’s achieved standards plus the next-faster standard time. This allows them to see where they are and what’s next, without wasting vertical space on tiers far beyond their current level.

A magnifying-glass toggle appears under the chart only when zooming out would reveal additional standards above or below the default view. 

Tapping it switches between:

• Zoomed in (default): achieved standards and the next-faster one.
• Zoomed out: the full range of available standards, so the user can see where the swimmer falls within the entire set.

If zooming out wouldn’t expose any additional standards, the toggle is hidden. The toggle also does not appear when no time standard is selected.

➧ Per-Swim Meet Detail

Below the chart, the selected swim shows:

• Meet date and name 
• Result type (e.g., Finals, Prelims)
• Relay lead-off indicator (R) where applicable
• Swimmer’s age at that meet

Tapping the meet information opens the full meet details in the mobile app.
