Overnight volunteer shifts

Hello - we have a team overnight outing and typically ask for adult volunteers overnight. While our event is scheduled from 5pm Saturday until 8am Sunday, when we are adding the volunteer shifts, if we try to schedule one shift for overnight help from 11pm to 1am, it says invalid because 1am is "before" 11pm -- we can't specify the dates in the volunteer role.

Is this something that can be worked around? For now, we just called the job "11pm to 1am shift (note 1am end time)" and hope the parents pay attention.

  Wow, that is an interesting use case that I am not sure we have thought of.  I will submit that as a possible consideration for a future enhancement.  For now, I think the best you can do is what you have described above.
