Managing a Repeating Job SignUp
Some teams have weekly events that they need to have job signups for. If you would like to do this but do not want to add a weekly event to your team calendar, here is a workaround:
Create one calendar event of your schedule called "Saturday Donuts" and place it at the end of your season.
You can then create your donut jobs like this:
Add each Saturday as an Item Request:
Open job signups:
You CAN stop here, however, you can take it one step further and HIDE this event from your team calendar so it does not clutter the calendar.
To do that, go to your website and navigate to your Schedule/SignUp page. Right-click on the job signup button:
Copy the link address:
SAVE THIS LINK ADDRESS SOMEWHERE (email it to yourself, or put it in a document or note).
Now go back to your admin team calendar and edit this Saturday Donut Calendar Event to be private:
Now this event will not show on your website team calendar, but will still be visible to you as an admin:
You can send out the link you saved in an email or you can post it elsewhere on your website and direct parents to use it. When they click on it, they will be directed right to the job signup.
