Some customers have requested the ability for their team logo to automatically display in their communications, while others have asked for the ability to include sponsor logos in the footer, similar to how they can add these logos to the heat sheet footer (Meet Maestro users only).
Although this functionality is not available at this time, we can offer a solution to accomplish these requests with just a little work by your team admin.
Covered in this Article:
- ① Add your sponsor logos to your Uploaded Files
- ② Copy the URLs for each logo uploaded
- ③ Add logos within your communication
- ④ Link to sponsor websites and position logo (Optional)
- Email Example: Sponsor Logos
- Email Example: Your logo at top
① Add your sponsor logos to your Uploaded Files
Once you have obtained logos from your sponsors, upload them in Manage Team > Settings > Uploaded Files
② Copy the URLs for each logo uploaded
When you are done uploading, click on each file name on this page to copy the URLs for each logo.
It will look similar to this: https://d1nmxxg9d5tdo.cloudfront.net/68/files/Drive_512_logo.png?1580138545
» Tip: Paste each one in some document/notes etc so you can copy/paste for the next step (or open a second browser window to grab the URLs as you go).
③ Add logos within your communication
When creating your email, click on the html editor icon "</>" and paste the following html after the wording you have included in your message. You would add the logos URLs you copied as in the example:
<p><img src="https://d1nmxxg9d5tdo.cloudfront.net/68/files/Drive_512_logo.png?1580138545"></p>
» Note: You may need to resize your logos so they display well. I suggest sending test emails just to yourself until you are happy with the look. A good rule of thumb would be to use the same guidelines we list for the heat sheet header: 700 pixels wide and no more than 150 pixels tall. Images taller than 150 pixels will be scaled proportionally. Supported image formats include JPEG and PNG.
④ Link to sponsor websites and position logo (Optional)
You can add the ability for parents to click on the logos and get to the sponsor websites and determine where the logo displays on the email (left/right).
To do this click on the logo when back in the regular view (not the html viewer) and an Edit option will come up like this:
If you click on the html editor again, the html will look like the following now:
<p><a href="https://drive512.com/" target="_blank"></a><a href="https://drive512.com/" target="_blank"><img src="https://d1nmxxg9d5tdo.cloudfront.net/68/files/Drive_512_logo.png?1580138545" alt="Drive 512" style="float: left; margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px;"></a></p>
Email Example: Sponsor Logos
Email Example: Your logo at top
The process is the same as above to display your team logo as a header to your emails.
