Meet Maestro Version History

This document describes the changes in each released version of Meet Maestro.

➧ Desktop Application: When an update for the Meet Maestro™ Desktop application is released, it will automatically be available to install using the "Update Version" button that will appear in the top bar. Installation is quick and the application will relaunch when finished.

» Note: The Meet Maestro Desktop application is necessary when running Meet Maestro with external timing systems.

➧ Web Browser: When running Meet Maestro™ via a web browser, updates are published automatically. Whenever you open (or refresh) a Meet Maestro window you'll have the latest version. If an update is published after Meet Maestro is opened, an "Update Version" button will appear in the top bar to prompt a window refresh.

You can check the current version of your Meet Maestro software by clicking the "Gear" icon in the top right, then view the version number in the bottom left of the window, below the "Logout" button.

1. Add exhibition tag ('EXH') to heats and lanes that are non-scoring based on the meet's scoring rules.
2. Add 'show empty lanes' option to the Heat Sheets report. This will include empty lanes in the Heat Sheet report, which some teams find helpful in the ready bench.
3. Add a gender filter to the Timer Sheets report which enables printing timer sheets on colored paper based on gender.
4. Add support for older browser versions (Chrome versions back to 2019). Note: We highly recommend enabling auto update in Chrome to gain security fixes.

Heat sheet visibility in the mobile app is now configurable in Meet Maestro. By default they are not visible, which allows meet directors and coaches to review heat sheets and make final changes before publishing. When publishing the heat sheets to the mobile app you can opt to send a 'heat sheets are ready' notification to the participating athletes and parents.

 

Mobile app settings indicators have been added to the footer. The footer now shows:

1. Whether the heat sheets are visible in the mobile app
2. Whether upcoming swim and results notifications are enabled
3. Whether mobile app "guests" can find the meet in the public meet search. "Guests" are mobile app users who do not have a SwimTopia login for one of the competing teams (grandparents, friends, etc).

1. Ensure result time is recomputed immediately when any watch times change. Some users noticed that times could be entered, but the official and result times would be blank. This in turn would cause the event to remain in the 'seeded' or 'partial' state.
2. Heats without entries should be treated as unseeded. This bug would prevent some events for entering the 'scored' state.
3. Provide better defaults for lane count for virtual meets
4. Include "X and under" events in reports when min age filter is set to '1'
