This document describes the changes in each released version of Meet Maestro™.
Desktop Application: Updates to the Meet Maestro Desktop application (necessary when Running Meet Maestro with CTS Dolphin Wireless Timing System) are indicated with a horizontal divider and larger blue font color. Updating the Desktop application requires downloading and (re)-installing the latest Meet Maestro Desktop Installer. (For now, a self-updating installer is coming...)
Web Browser: When running Meet Maestro™ via a web browser, updates are published automatically. Whenever you open (or refresh) a Meet Maestro window you'll have the latest version. If an update is published after Meet Maestro is opened, an "Update Version" button will appear in the top bar to prompt a window refresh.
You can check the current version of your Meet Maestro software by clicking the "Gear" icon in the top right, then view the version number in the bottom right of the window, below the "Logout" button.
Version 2.10.2 (Web only)
September 11, 2019 6:03pm CDT
- Fixed wrapping issues caused by long date descriptions. A long month name and two-digit day (e.g. "September 10, 2019") could trigger wrapping of the "printed" timestamp in report footers. This wrapped footer would be taller than usual which could trigger less-than-desirable layout issues, most notably it could result in 2-up timer sheets printing as 1-up instead.
Version 2.10.1 (Web only)
July 9, 2019 6:08pm CDT
- Fixes display of Exhibition results, replacing (EXH) badge in place column with simple 'X' to avoid overcrowding.
- Fixes issue causing Psych Sheet to bleed into neighboring columns in 3-column mode.
- Adds Meet name and date to header of Psych Sheet.
- Makes display of relay names on Psych Sheet consistent with Heat Sheet and Results reports.
- Add display of records (if available) to Psych Sheet
- Fixes calculation of estimated place in Psych Sheet with converted seed times.
Version 2.10.0 (Desktop and Web)

- Polished the display of the Heat Sheet and Results report to fine-tune formatting.
- Entry time is now included on the 2-column Results result by default
Version 2.9.4 (Web only)
June 28, 2019 12:36am CDT
- Adds preliminary support for displaying Records on Heat Sheet report. (This feature is in beta-testing and is not yet generally available).
Version 2.9.3 (Web only)
June 26, 2019 8:01pm CDT
- Add Session filter to Heat Sheet, Timer Sheets, Session Report and Psych Sheet reports. Filter is only shown if meet has more than one Session.
- Hides Session selector in Run meet interface unless meet has more than one Session.
Version 2.9.2 (Web only)
June 26, 2019 12:05pm CDT
- Implemented feature to support Judge's decision/override of calculated points
- Added visual indicator when heat place, overall place or points are overridden by a judge's decision (a dark grey "dog ear" triangle in the top right, similar to the red entry change indicator)
- Moved the prev/next event up/down arrows to the right of the event number, to avoid accidental clicking/mouse over of event bar when going to click up/down between events.
- Minor tweak to the mobile app promotional text in the footer of most reports.
- Fixed issue that would prevent loading events in athlete entry form in multi-session meets
- Fixed issue that in some cases would prevent the last few events/heats from printing on heat sheets and potentially other reports.
Version 2.9.0 (Desktop and Web)
June 13, 2019 11:25pm CDT

- Improved overall performance by minimizing data requested from the network. Should be most noticeable in athlete edit/scratch and report interface.
- Improved resiliency when network connection is lost or server errors are encountered. Pending changes are now saved locally and will survive window refresh or browser restart.
- Pending updates are now saved in smaller batches, preventing errors that could occur when a large number of pending updates were saved in one big batch.
- Improved handling of concurrent data editing. Now if one computer is inputting times and another is inputing DQs, they won't step on each others toes.
- Label reports are now available in the Desktop app. The first page of labels is generated as a preview and full PDF can be opened for printing.
- Fixed issue that would prevent mixed gender events from being displayed in athlete edit window.
- Swim-up entries are now automatically displayed in athlete edit window (previously these would only be displayed if the "Show swim-ups" box was checked)
- Fixed several minor issues found from review of error logs.
- Adds a line to the footer of most reports encouraging download of the SwimTopia mobile app.
Version 2.8.3 (Web only)
May 30, 2019 10:12am CDT
- Fixed spacing issue that affected multiple reports. Could result in unexpected/undesirable page breaks. Issue was most noticeable in 2-per page Timer Sheet report, where it would result in inconsistent groupings of events across lanes.
Version 2.8.2 (Web only)
May 29, 2019 7:54pm CDT
- Fixed issue with filter by Event Number range on the Timer Sheet report. Some event number ranges where resulting in no data being returned.
Version 2.8.1 (Web only)
May 29, 2019 2:32pm CDT
- Updated Entry Labels to sort by Event, Heat then Lane (instead of by Event then Athlete Name)
- Updated Entry Labels to generate one label per Relay Team (in relay events) and show all relay team members in order
Version 2.8.0 (Desktop and Web)
May 23, 2019 7:18pm CDT
Download Latest Desktop Installer
- Fixed issue that could prevent cancellation of edits to relays
- Improved Timer Sheet layout to avoid overlap with large number of heats in an event.
- Added relay team designator (e.g. 'A', 'B', 'C') to timer sheet report
- Fixed issue that could cause Maestro to become disconnected from current event/heat information published by Dolphin 5 software
- Team Standings in run interface now update immediately after each result update
- Issue that could prevent course conversion factor from being properly applied to results has been fixed.
- Included all fixes and features since previous desktop release (2.7.0) into new Windows app installer.
Version 2.7.1 (Web only)
May 22, 2019 10:11am CDT
- Fixed issue preventing relay changes (specifically moving one or more athlete from one position to another) from being saved.
Version 2.7.0 (Desktop and Web)
May 16, 2019 8:28pm CDT
Download Latest Desktop Installer
- Fixed issue preventing data input when in "place entry" mode (where finish order is primarily determined by judged heat place rather than by time).
- Improved handling of Empty lane indication from Dolphin 5 software. Previously, if times were recorded by the watches and lane was marked as empty, the times would still be imported. Now the "empty" indication in the Dolphin console overrides, and times are not imported.
- Time improvement labels are now correctly filtered to individual events only. Prevents issue where athlete names would appear as "undefined" on relay time improvement labels.
- Fixed issue where blue/yellow/green Heat status could get out of sync with Event status.
Version 2.6.0 (Desktop App)
May 11, 2019 11:58am CDT
Download Latest Desktop Installer

Version 2.5.12 (Web only)

- Added feature to show warning if two watches are input and are greater than time tolerance from each other (default 0.3 seconds)
