Add Meet Details to Your SwimTopia Schedule
Visiting teams will need to know the following details about your meet, so as you set up your meet on your SwimTopia Lite account, you'll want to ensure it's all displayed correctly.
The following information will be part of your meet details and will be visible on your meet calendar on your SwimTopia site:
- Meet name
- Date and start time
- Location
Other details are embedded within your meet, and you should list these in the Description field of the Meet Details section of your meet:
- Pool course (SCY, SCM, or LCM)
- Linking code – found under Meet Setup > Linking
- Shared meet template code and name that you used for your meet (an example is "[SH113] Short Format 1 - 13 & Under" – in this example, the code is "SH113," and the name is "Short Format 1 - 13 & Under")
- Meet entry fees that you'll be charging for your meet
- Deadline for teams to mark themselves Ready
- Contact information, in case of questions
- Any other details about your meet that would be helpful
Post Your Meet on the JR ISL Meet Calendar
You'd like other teams to find your meet, so you'll need to share your meet details with JR ISL.
Go to jrisl.swimtopia.com and go to the Calendar tab. Click the green "Submit Event" button.
When you post your meet, ensure the following information is included in the description:
- Meet name
- Date and start time
- Location
- Pool course (SCY, SCM, or LCM)
- Linking code – found under Meet Setup > Linking
- Code and name for the shared meet template that you used for your meet
- Meet entry fees that you'll be charging for your meet
- Information about other meets on the same date (if applicable)
- Deadline for teams to mark themselves Ready
- Link to your SwimTopia site
- Contact information, in case of questions
- Any other details about your meet that would be helpful
The event will be sent for approval and will be published after it is reviewed.
If changes need to be made to the event that was already posted, please submit another event and indicate in the "Private notes for the calendar owner" which event needs to be removed to be replaced with this new event.
Merge the Meet in Meet Maestro
All participating teams should mark themselves Ready when their meet entries are ready to go (or before your deadline). You can then merge the meet in Meet Maestro.
